Delighted to say that we'll be at Sofiya at The Regis for the Sunday Brunch sessions for another year! Come dine with us while we play you a whole mix of jazz, classic evergreens, Pop and R&B hits from 1230pm to 3pm every Sunday. Don't forget to make your reservations! Fabian Lim on all kinds of sax and flute. Joshua Wan on keys with his renditions and harmonies which I call a dendrite massage on the brain🤩
A wonderful weekend at The Cool Cats Jazz Club, first night with Nick Lim on keys, Russell on Bass, and Tony Ze on drums, and the next night with Duncan on keys, Russell on Bass and Jerry on drums. I had so much fun playing with them to such a wonderful audience, and I'm grateful to everyone who took the time to spend the evening with us. Thank you Vamp Productions for the gig. My inspiration is the beautiful sounds and talents from all the musicians that I get to work with.. they're SO good, SO shiok!! Haha
Two events for Botero in Singapore with the wonderful Kachi on guitar, and Bobby joining us on percussion on Day 2 at Gardens By The Bay. Added in some classic Spanish tunes for the night as per client's request. Everything was perfect except the awful experience of laryngitis for me..so thankful I managed to still make it through the sets.. not my ideal best but made easier by the talents of Kachi, a Bobby, and of course Billy on sound, to get me at my best!
So glad to have been able to sing with the Caravan Band (Regi Leo on guitar, Tony Macarome on Bass and Tamagoh on drums) pre-Covid and post Covid. It has always been a treat especially to hear their instrumentals at the start of each set! Being among the stunning Botanical gardens, a wonderful band, a listening audience and the best crew serving us tasty gourmet meals and drinks. Sad to have it end and see it close down after this long, but certainly thankful for my musical time here 🙏🏽
I had the best time performing the legendary Carpenters tribute at the Esplanade Recital Hall with a wonderful band that is Matthew Siew on keys, Wah Yong on bass, Daniel Chai on guitar, and Bobby Singh on drums. Very thankful for a full house at both shows, thankful for the wonderful audience that participated, laughed, sang and even danced along. So many wonderful and meaningful songs that brought back a lot of memories for all.. I enjoyed reading the biography of Karen Carpenter and am grateful for her journey and contribution of such great music. Thank you Esplanade for having us! Pictures and videos by my lovely Finn 😍
Full day event for La Mer at Jigger & Pony with Boon Chye and Michelle. Thank you La Mer and High Notes Music ❤️
A Friday night sub at the beautiful Astor Bar St Regis, and made my night bumping into friends I haven't seen for a while. Had just enough sleep before heading to the Four Seasons the next morning for a wedding gig with Matt and Fabian. 1st time dueting w Matt, a hit with the guests..of course never thought to record it🤦🏾♀️ always another op!
Gig for Alfa Romeo launch last night w Indra and Felix from Vocalise Jazz. The paint work looked like I could dip my finger in it😄 This gig was a treat for my boys as they are both very much into cars and everything F1 at the moment. Video calling them and showing them the variety of Ferraris and Le Mans classic posters made their day! I felt double useful then 🤩 Also a chance for me to pull out some Italian repertoire, was feeling a little dusty on the articulation, but being complimented by an Italian that I made him feel like home, totally made MY day!
I had so much fun grooving with Eugene, Hiro and Benson last night at The Fullerton even if it was just for 1 set. Gig by Elegant Swing for BRS Australia. Then dinner date w Ian Seymour at Muddy Murphy's while waiting out the bike jam. He was thrilled with his cool freebie St Patrick light up glasses🤩🤓
A wonderful week of music at Bistro du Vin and Chijmes, and ending off the week at the mind-blowing concert of Jeremy Monteiro's Quintessential Quintet featuring the amazing Melissa Tham. Back at Renku MBS tonight and looking forward to making more music with both the very talented Nick Lim and Terry Ang. We start at 7pm!
